The ticket on this page is for a mountain: Moganshan, in Deqing County, Huzhou prefecture, Zhejiang Province, China, about 60 km north of Hangzhou and 200 to 240 km from Shanghai. Moganshan Road, the M50 art district, is a street in Shanghai and sells no tickets.
Short answer: published Moganshan ticket prices run from RMB 50 to RMB 130, and sources disagree. Why.
Then the question nobody asks first. Plenty of people who come here never buy one.
The villages sit at the foot of the mountain, and so do almost all of the roughly 1,000 guesthouses. Xiantan alone holds about 135 in a village of under 2,000 people. The restaurants are down there too. What the ticket covers is the protected core above, the Moganshan National Scenic Area, and you can spend a whole weekend below it without ever needing one.

Two published prices that do not agree
Two sets of prices circulate for the same Moganshan scenic area ticket. They do not overlap, and neither one can be printed here as the answer.

The top of one set is more than twice the bottom of the other. Nobody misreads a price by that much, so something else is going on. One set is probably older than the other, or prices something narrower than the core, a single sight or a shuttle fare. Neither traces to an official source.
Budget RMB 130 per adult. Anything cheaper is money back, and you should confirm the figure when you book. Three places beat any website.

Why the entrance fee is the small number
Put the worst case next to the rest of the bill. A mid-range guesthouse runs RMB 300 to 500 a night off-season and passes RMB 1,000 in peak. High-end starts near RMB 1,500. A RMB 130 ticket is a rounding error against that.
So the conflict is annoying without being expensive, and the thing that will really cost you is the clock.
The transfer centers and the 18:00 wall
One constraint never shows up in the price. Private vehicles cannot drive inside the scenic area. That rule shapes every visit, and English sources almost never print it. You leave the car at one of three transfer centers below.

Ten hours sounds generous. Look at what falls outside the window, starting with sunrise at Xuguang.
Last entry, last transfer down and gate close are three different deadlines, and 18:00 is quoted for all of them. Treat it as the time to be out.

Three things to settle at the counter
Ask these in the same message that asks the price, because none of them is printed anywhere useful.

Buying it, and what to have ready
Assume you do need a ticket. Buying one is easy, provided you did one thing before you left. The RMB 10 online discount implies advance sale, and those sales run through Alipay and WeChat Pay, which foreign cards can be bound to. Do that setup at home, because the line at Yucun is a bad place to find out it does not work. Money and payments has it.
Carry your passport, not a photo. Hotels and attractions check it as routine, and your booking ties to the number.

Winter buys the cheapest ticket and the shortest day inside the gate. Weekends and holidays push everyone through three transfer points at once. Best time to visit works that trade, and the planning hub is where to start.
