Le Passage Mohkan Shan is a hotel on Moganshan. Place the mountain first: Zhejiang Province, Huzhou prefecture, Deqing County. Hangzhou lies 60 km south of it, Shanghai 200 to 240 km away. The M50 art district on Shanghai’s Moganshan Road is a different thing entirely, and it soaks up most of the search traffic for the name.

The hotel writes its name as Mohkan Shan. The mountain is Moganshan. Search engines treat those as different words.
So try both. “Le Passage Mohkan Shan” is the property’s own form. “Le Passage Moganshan” is what most people type. If one gives you nothing, run the other.

Beyond that, this property publishes almost nothing. Its opening year, its room rates, whether dinner is served, which village it sits in and whether there is English at the desk are none of them on any public record, and the phrase “built for the international market” comes from a trade description rather than from the hotel.
In English these get called a country house or a country hotel. The local words differ: minsu (民宿) for a small owner-run guesthouse, and yangjiale (洋家乐), literally a foreigner’s farmstay, for the foreign-founded ones. Twenty-eight keys puts this one above the village minsu scale either way.

That 18:00 close is what wrecks evening arrivals. Whether it wrecks yours depends on which side of that boundary your hotel stands. Ask two things when you book: whether the hotel sits inside the scenic area, and which transfer center serves it.
One last trap. A railway station named Moganshan exists, on a different line, and it drops you in Wukang, the county town. Getting around has the shuttle timetable and the transfer centers in full.
What to do with this page
Use it as a checklist, not a review. Search both spellings, confirm on a platform that rooms are on sale, get a rate in writing, and ask whether you will be sleeping inside the scenic area.
