Registration opened on 13 October for the Outopia Haoye Sisters Moganshan Winter Race (Outopia好野姐妹莫干山冬季赛), a trail race only women may enter, on Sunday 13 December 2026. Zuicool (最酷), the platform that sells the places, announced it that day. Entries close at 23:59 on 12 November, or earlier if a course fills.
The race is not on the mountain. The registration page puts it at Moganshan Xuelegu (莫干山雪乐谷) in Fuxi subdistrict (阜溪街道), the county subdistrict that borders Moganshan town to the east, and says nothing else about the venue. Saturday 12 December is for collecting race packs, and all the racing is on the Sunday. No course map has been published.
There are two running distances, and each can be entered alone or as a pair. The 20 km course measures 19.7 km with 706 metres of climbing, starts at 09:00 and closes at 15:00. The page expects it to earn one ITRA point, the score trail runners collect towards entry to bigger races. The 8 km course is 8.4 km with 250 metres of climbing, from 09:30 to 13:30.
Entry for one runner costs RMB 599 on the 20 km and RMB 519 on the 8 km; a pair pays RMB 1,198 or RMB 1,038. A long sleeved wool race top comes with every entry. The page lists these as “from” prices. A third option, a 5.52 km walk spent picking up litter for RMB 99, was already shown as closed when we read the page on 16 October.
The organiser posts on WeChat as Gucheng Yueye (菰城越野). Its blurb presents the race as the winter leg of a run through the four seasons in the hills around Moganshan, and says pets are welcome. Neither the organiser nor Zuicool has published a traffic or spectator plan.
If you are a woman planning a December trip and want a race in it, enter before the deadline rather than on it: places go in order until each course is full. Anyone else staying in the villages that weekend has no reason to change plans.
What this means for a visitor: If you are a woman who runs and you are planning a December trip, you can enter until 12 November while places last; any other visitor that weekend need change nothing, since the race is off the mountain.
