Moganshan’s beds are otherwise small and local. About 80 percent of the area’s guesthouses have a single owner, and Moganshan Town counted about 1,000 of them by September 2025. Twenty eight under one platform is a different animal.

What this means for a visitor: More of what you book may belong to one company. At about RMB 1,300 a night those rooms sit near the top of this market, where the high end line is RMB 1,500.
